We’re Sharni and James, founders of Salt + Sigil.
A veterinary nurse and veterinarian by trade, our backgrounds may be clinical, but we’re drawn to the mystical: to moon cycles, earth rhythms, and the unseen energies that flow through all living things.
Our love of travel has taken us across continents, deepening our respect for wild spaces and the creatures who inhabit them, igniting a lifelong passion for conservation.
Why we started
Salt + Sigil began as more than a business - it was a calling.
After years working in veterinary care, we felt the pull to create something that could honour both our instinct to heal and our spiritual practice. We wanted to build a brand that uplifts others, supports conscious living, and gives back to the Earth.

No mystical team would be complete without a little woodland wisdom. Our beloved rescue rabbits, Oak and Ivy, lend their discerning tastebuds to the cause, sampling many of our herbal tea ingredients as they arrive. With such impeccable instincts, the approval of these foraging familiars is how we ensure each blend is perfected and ready to be shared!
